JULIA CHEN

Research and Communications Specialist

 

Julia Chen has a B.A. in History from Harvard University (2011), where she completed her senior thesis about immigration policy. As an undergraduate, she undertook a broad curriculum, with specific focus given to modern European, Chinese, and American history. Julia is interested in the intersection of policy and media, as well as the role of religion and philosophy in shaping movements and events. She is fascinated by how ideas spread, both culturally and from the perspective of the individual learner; this has led to developing interests in technology and education.

 

Julia has worked in consulting and in various research and writing positions. She enjoys traveling, reading, and being outdoors.
